You can add additional PIN-based security to your payroll processing workflow to ensure tasks like issuing payments are only performed by authorized personnel.
To turn on enhanced security, log into your account (you'll need to login with an account that has Payroll Master level access). Go to the settings area:
Select Payroll Options and go to the Payroll Security tab:
Click Activate and enter your PIN:
Using enhanced security during a payrun
Your PIN will now be necessary on the PAYMENTS stage of your payrun. You can enter the PIN before finalizing your payrun:
Resetting or removing your PIN
To reset your PIN, log into your account (you'll need to login with an account that has Payroll Master level access) and go to SETTINGS -> PAYROLL OPTIONS -> PAYROLL SECURITY tab. You'll be able to click the 'change' button to enter a new PIN. To remove enhanced security and the PIN option, keep the PIN fields blank and click save. **Note, to change or remove a PIN you MUST know the old PIN.
