Just a heads-up: this updated report is currently only available on the Growth Plan. We'll make it available to everyone soon! 

 

The Tax Filings report section is where you’ll find all of your current and previous year T4s, T4As and RL-1s. There are both interim and final copies of these documents, so you can view the interim versions for review or download the final versions for submission.

A. From the left-hand menu, click Reports.

B. Select Yearly. 

C. Choose Tax Filing

 

 

D. This bar shows how many tax slips you must submit, your due date, and how many you've submitted

E. Created: The date the tax slips were created.

F. Submitted by: The name of the user who finalized and submitted the tax slips in PayEvo.

G. Submitted on: The date the tax slips were finalized and submitted.

H. Method: The method by which the tax slips were submitted (online, manual, auto-submission). 

I. Status: Indicates whether the tax slips have been finalized or are in progress.

J. Confirmation: Indicates the confirmation number for the submission. If you submitted via auto-submission, this will indicate the confirmation number CRA has issued. If you submitted online or manually, this will show what you entered as the confirmation.

K. Ellipses: Click this to view and download the tax slip submissions to PDF and XML. 

L. Year: Use this filter to change the tax slip year. All the years in which you have YTD information will appear as an option. 

 

 

If you’re downloading the slips, you will see the option to download the employee or government versions of the PDF. The government version will include the summary and one copy of each employee’s slip. The employee versions will omit the summary and provide one page for each employee containing two slips.
